Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade - The Short VersionTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow. What You Trade OnAvailable: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.Execution SpeedThis is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationThis is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision. The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.The BonusTabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit. The full review, covering all the details before you read more open an account, is at tradetheday.com.
